The South Angsi A platform was a very successfull fast track field development managed by Talisman Malaysia in record time. The platform is conceived with a separate, pre-installed substructure (Jacket) planned to be early on the field in order to pre-construct the producing and injecting wells. In the mean-time the MOAB^® topsides was fabricated, pre-commissioned and installed. With all the wells already completed, after a short hook up and commissioning time, the project was break even 3 months after first oil.
