Lifting Analysis
Service Division, Marine/Naval
Objects being lifted offshore require dynamic simulations to determine a dynamic amplification factor (DAF). Lifts involving single or multiple hooks and/or tugger lines can be modelled also considering the crane vessel motion behavior in complex multi-body simulations. Lifts of objects in air, submerged objects as well as in partly submerged position can be simulated. Results are used for rigging design and/or verifications.
